מדעי הנתונים המרחביים מאפשרים לאנליסטים לחלץ תובנות מנתונים באמצעות מערך מקיף של שיטות אנליטיות ואלגוריתמים מרחביים, כולל למידת מכונה/סטטיסטית ולמידה עמוקה, כדי לחשוף דפוסים ולשפר תחזיות. בסדנה נדון במושגי יסוד של למידת מכונה, נכיר כלים שאפשר ליישם בפרויקטים של ניתוח מרחבי, תוך יישום תהליכי עבודה של למידת מכונה על מגוון סוגי נתונים, כולל תמונות ונתונים טבלאיים: אנו נתייג נתונים, נאמן ונשתמש במודלים של למידת מכונה ב-ArcGIS, כדי לבצע משימות כמו ניתוח אשכולות (Clustering), חיזוי, סיווג וזיהוי אובייקטים וזיהוי שינויים.
Introduction to RStudio for Spatial Data

An introductory workshop for those with no prior knowledge of RStudio or those with some basic experience who would like to know more about how RStudio can be used for spatial data. The workshop will provide a basic overview of the RStudio interface, a quick introduction of the programming language, and an interactive demonstration on the downloading, loading, manipulating, and exporting of spatial data.
Workshop Objectives:
R syntax: familiarizing users with the different ‘parts of speech’ in R; introducing variables, modifying simple arguments.
Data loading: understanding the types of data which can be read by R. Reading in data from files.
Data inspection and manipulation: using indices to examine, summarize, subset, and merge datasets or to create new ones.
Exporting data: naming and exporting new data tables for use outside of R.
